On Sunday 19th September, a team of around 20 OPDC researchers and supporters including Professor Michele HuDr Ira Milosevic, and the Wade-Martins Group took part in the annual Walk for Parkinson's in Oxford organised by Parkinson's UK, in conjunction with the Parkinson’s UK Oxford Branch

Members of the OPDC completed either the 6 or 2 mile walk on the tracks and paths through the woodland at Wytham Woods to help raise funds towards vital research into Parkinson’s Disease. They all earnt themselves a well-deserved medal at the end. A huge thanks goes to Katy Slade, Parkinson’s UK Regional Fundraiser and her team for their organisation, and making the event a success. Congratulations to everyone who took part in the event and helped to raise an amazing £18,812.
