The Histology Small Research Facility is based in the Sherrington Building and is a shared service between the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics (DPAG) and the Department of Experimental Psychology (EP).
The facility is open to all University of Oxford researchers for their own use after a mandatory Laboratory induction by the Histology Manager.

- Freezing stage Leica /Leitz Microtomes
- Bright Cryostat
- Leica Vibratome
- Rotary Microtome for paraffin embedded tissue
- Light Microscopes
Charges
- Full Histology Service (processing of histological samples) by the Histology manager, subject to availability: £361 per day*
- Access to the Lab to use cryostats, other specialist/histology equipment or for histological processing by individuals after Lab Induction: £22 per hour*
