personal development review (pdr)

DPAG has a Personal Development Review (PDR) process in place to provide staff with the opportunity to review their role and responsibilities, gain feedback, identify objectives and priorities for the year and consider any support needed to achieve them.  The University has some useful resources to help you to get the most out of your PDR and DPAG has produced a leaflet to support you through the process.

training

The University's People and Organisational Development (POD) department provides a wide range of courses and programmes to University staff.

IT Learning Centre provides IT training for all University members. They offer a variety of IT courses and workshops and will customise courses for groups.

LinkedIn Learning is an online learning resource which offers a wide range of online learning materials covering personal and professional development, as well as technical IT topics. 

The Medical Sciences Division runs skills training courses open to both graduate students and research staff. They have also collated a list of other training resources available to staff in the division.

The University have compiled a catalogue of training and development opportunities available for staff at Oxford involved in research support.
