Ricardo Marquez Gomez

Postdoctoral Research Scientist

I studied Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology in Mexico and my research focused on finding novel GPCRs dimers in the striatum and their molecular fingerprint. In 2019, I joined the Department of Pharmacology at University of Oxford as a Newton International Fellow to study how histamine regulates brain development (Ellender Lab).

In the Wade-Martins group, my research focuses on the discovery of candidate drugs to treat Parkinson's disease in iPSCs and mouse models.
