Abstracts of posters were presented by DPAG Graduate Students at the start of their Second Year of DPhil Research Study. An academic panel of judges spent the morning viewing each poster to determine the prize winners.
The winner is Judy Sayers, supervised by Professor Paul Riley and Dr Xin Sun with "Regeneration of the Cardiac Conduction System". She wins a £50 Blackwell’s gift voucher.

Three runners-up were announced this year, who each receive a £25 gift voucher, they are:
Antara Majumdar, supervised by Dr Armin Lak and Associate Professor Simon Butt, with "Probing value-based decisions across regions in the prefrontal cortex".
Ester Paolocci, supervised by Professor Manuela Zaccolo and Dr David J. P. Henderson, with "Phosphodiesterases Activity in Primary Cilium Formation and Function and their Involvement in Ciliopathies".
Tara Diviney, supervised by Dr Natalie Connor-Robson, Professor Stephanie Cragg and Professor Richard Wade-Martins, with "Characterisation of a novel GBA-L444P BAC transgenic mouse model of Parkinson’s disease".

From all students presenting, the standard of all the posters was high making it a very close competition.
