Dopamine Club was founded in 2014 to bring together dopamine researchers within the University and promote interactions towards the common goal of understanding dopamine function.

The role of dopamine in movement, motivation and reward places it central to an organism's survival. Because of this importance, dopamine is of interest to many researchers spanning multiple disciplines, and a variety of complementary perspectives on dopamine function have arisen. The growing body of dopamine researchers within Oxford and their diversity of views led us to establish Dopamine Club to encourage sharing of perspectives to advance understanding.
We aim to make our meetings fun and sociable with targeted scientific content that is of interest to all. The Systems & Cellular Neuroscience Cluster in DPAG supports the meetings, allowing us to provide food and drink to promote informal interactions. The great research community in Oxford ensures we are never short of topics to cover!
