Michael Lawton is a medical statistician under the supervision of Yoav Ben-Shlomo. Since 2013 he has been working as the main project statistician for the OPDC and Tracking Parkinson's (PI Donald Grosset) cohorts which are both incidence cohorts for Parkinson's. Michael's statistical work in Parkinson's includes data harmonisation of both cognitive and olfaction tests and using data driven techniques for subtype detection. As well as carrying our statistical analyses he is involved in both studies as a data manager and works to ensure data quality.
