Pint of Science is an annual science festival that this year took place between 14th and 16th May. It brings together researchers at local pubs to share their scientific discoveries with the general public.

The festival has become a hit in Oxford, and indeed all events were fully booked this year.

Of particular interest was the BHF sponsored evening that took place on Wednesday 16th May at St Aldates Tavern. Two members from DPAG delivered talks: Damian Tyler on finding a new way to study the heart; and Kersten Timm on chemotherapy.

Will Slater, a representative from the BHF came along to the event to deliver a short introduction about the charity and to give away some freebies!

Massive thanks are in order to Naveed Akbar, Laurienne Edgar, and Jillian Simon, who organised the event.
