Lizzy Brown

Research Assistant

I graduated in 2019 with a BSc in Applied Medical Sciences where I looked at the biological variability of iPSC cardiomyocytes for my dissertation. After obtaining my degree I moved into a clinical trials laboratory where I tested patient samples using high-throughput chemistry analysers. I am pleased to have now moved back to working with stem cells in the James Martin Stem Cell Facility. I will be working in collaboration with Cardiff University on The UKDRI IPSC Platform to Model Alzheimer’s Disease Risk (IPMAR) project which aims to create a bank of iPSC cell lines derived from donors with Alzheimer's disease.
