Research Assistant

I completed my BSc in Genetics with Spanish at the University of Manchester, with my undergraduate project focussing on a potential role of alternative splicing in the hereditary stroke syndrome CADASIL. I am now a Research Assistant in the Wade-Martins Group working on a project in collaboration with Lario Therapeutics and funded by the Michael J Fox Foundation to test the potential of calcium channel inhibitors to treat Parkinson's Disease using iPSC-derived dopamine neurons from patients.
