Postdoctoral Research Scientist
In Prof Lakhal-Littleton’s group we are working on a project relating iron homeostasis in the pathophysiology of heart failure. My own interest lies in the relation between iron dynamics, inflammation, and how those processes are translated into clinical applications.
Previously I have worked as a doctoral student and research assistant at King’s College London within the iron metabolism group. In particular, my previous research involved experience with chronic kidney disease, anaemia, and iron supplementation in cell and mice models.
