Mary Slingo
I am a postdoctoral clinical fellow, funded by a MRC CARP award. After completing my DPhil in the physiology of oxygen-sensing with Prof. Peter Robbins I went on finish training in anaesthesia and am now a Consultant Anaesthetist at University Hospital Southampton. I specialise in major thoracic and vascular anaesthesia, and have a particular interest in the physiology of hypoxia - and that of the pulmonary circulation in particular.
