My research focuses on understanding how interneurons encode the emergence of higher-order processing in the medial prefrontal cortex.

To examine this, I am employing optical techniques and recording with high-density electrophysiological probes (Neuropixels & Neuronexus) in vivo at critical time points in cortical development.

Previously, I received my BSc in Neuroscience from the University of Edinburgh, where I conducted a bioinformatic analysis of human interneurons with a specific vulnerability to autism-related mutations under the supervision of Dr Thomas Pratt and Dr Idoia Quintana-Urzainqui.
