Andrew Peters

Sir Henry Dale Fellow

Andy earned his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from Emory University in Atlanta, and worked as a research assistant at the National Institutes of Health before joining the Neurosciences Graduate Program at the University of California, San Diego. His PhD work in Takaki Komiyama’s lab investigated changes in motor cortex activity throughout learning. He then joined Matteo Carandini and Kenneth Harris’ lab at University College London for a postdoctoral fellowship, where his research focused on interactions between the cortex and striatum. Andy arrived at DPAG to start his lab in 2022.
