Research Assistant
I am Research Assistant in the Cragg Group funded by the Aligning Science Across Parkinson’s (ASAP) Initiative. I am currently investigating how different neuromodulators regulate striatal dopamine transmission in health and Parkinson's disease. As part of my research, I predominately use fast-scan cyclic voltammetry and genetically-encoded G-protein-coupled-receptor activation-based (GRAB) sensors.
Prior to joining the Cragg lab, I completed my BSc in Biomedical Sciences at The University of Sheffield and my MSc in Pharmacology at The University of Oxford. I conducted my MSc research project in Dr Liliana Minichiello's lab, where I looked into the role of ATXN7L3 in the early neurodegeneration of striatal neurons in a mouse model relevant to Huntington's disease.
