Professor Dame Frances Ashcroft has been selected as recipient of the Rolf Luft Award 2024. The Rolf Luft Foundation for Diabetes Research and the Karolinska Institutet give yearly, in memory of Rolf Luft, a prize for outstanding research in diabetes, endocrinology and metabolism. Awardees receive the Rolf Luft Medal, a Diploma, an Honorarium and deliver a Lecture on their research.
The Prize Lecture was held by Professor Dame Frances Ashcroft at the Prize Ceremony in Nobel Forum, Karolinska Institutet, in September 2024, where she was also awarded her medal.
