David Dupret with Academia Europea logo

We are happy to share the news that DPAG’s Professor David Dupret has been elected to membership of Academia Europaea.

The Academia Europaea is the Pan-European Academy of Sciences, Humanities and Letters, founded in 1988 as an initiative of the Royal Society to co-ordinate European interests in national research agencies. Its 5,500 members are drawn from across the whole European continent. Members are leading experts from the physical sciences and technology, biological sciences and medicine, mathematics, the letters and humanities, social and cognitive sciences, economics and the law.

Invitations are made only after peer group nomination, scrutiny and confirmation as to the scholarship and eminence of the individual in their chosen field. Election is confirmed by the Council of the Academia. David will join DPAG colleague Pawel Swietach whose nomination was announced recently.
