team members doing the Parkinson's walk in the rain

A team from the Wade-Martins Group braved very wet conditions to take part in the annual Walk for Parkinson's in Dinton Pastures Country Park, Berkshire organised by Parkinson's UK, in conjunction with the Parkinson’s UK Oxford Branch.

On Sunday 7 July over 300 participants completed either the 2 or 6 mile walk through the 350-acre country park of woodland, meadow, and lakes situated in the heart of Wokingham to help raise funds towards vital research into new treatments and a cure for Parkinson’s Disease.

The event has raised an amazing £34,000 so far with the Wade-Martins team of six raising over £150, with donations still coming in. Please see the Wade-Martins fundraising page here if you wish to make a donation to Parkinson’s UK: https://events.parkinsons.org.uk/fundraisers/Wade-MartinsLab1263

A huge thank you to Katherine Dennis, Parkinson’s UK Regional Community Fundraiser and her team for their organisation, and making the event a success. Congratulations to everyone who took part in the event and helped to raise essential funds toward research into Parkinson’s Disease.
