A number of academics from the Costa Group and Lak Group have been invited to give talks at the annual Cosyne meeting in Portugal later this week. Cosyne provides an inclusive forum for the exchange of empirical and theoretical approaches to problems in systems neuroscience.
Two talks have been accepted, Graded representation of economic value across regions and projections of the frontal cortex (Antara Majumdar, Caitlin Ashcroft, Matthias Fritsche, Lauren Strickland, Lukas Bijoch, Adam Packer, Simon Butt and Armin Lak) and Back to the present: self-supervised learning in neocortical microcircuits (Kevin Kermani Nejad, Paul Anastasiades, Loreen Hertäg and Rui Ponte Costa).
DPAG has done very well to have been asked to present two talks, because only 3% of those submitted are accepted for inclusion on the programme. In addition 4 posters will be presented.
