Art and Legacy of Santiago Ramón y Cajal, a free exhibition celebrating the artwork and science of the father of modern neuroscience, is currently showing at the Life and Mind Building, Oxford. The initial opening has been extended by 4 weeks.
On 29 April DPAG hosted a launch event for the exhibition. It started with a welcome from Professor Matthew Rushworth followed by a talk "The Eras Tour (Cajal's version)" – given by Dr Patricia G.. This was followed by a talk on "Cajal, the man, the myth, the scientist... and more" delivered by Professor José Ramón Alonso, and the talks wrapped up with DPAG's own Professor Zoltán Molnár talking about 'Cajal's interactions with Sherrington'.
