Postdoctoral Research Scientist

I completed my PhD in Oct.2024 at Aix-Marseille University within the Timone Neurosciences Institute under the supervision of Dr. Rémi Bos. My doctoral research focused on the crosstalk between spinal cholinergic motoneurons and astrocytes, and its role in motor control under both physiological and pathological conditions. I employed a multidisciplinary approach combining ex vivo electrophysiology, two-photon dual-cell calcium imaging, immunohistochemistry, and behavioral analysis—bridging the gap between cellular mechanisms and whole-organism behaviors. To further investigate the role of astrocytes in modulating neuronal activity, I have joined in Sept.2025 Prof. Stephanie Cragg’s group at the University of Oxford, to study the interactions between astrocytes and cholinergic interneurons in the striatum, with a focus on their roles in health and disease.
