Jacob Tharayil

DPhil Student

I am a DPhil student in the Auditory Neuroscience Group co-supervised by Professor Kerry Walker and Professor Andrew King. I study how our brains adapt to auditory reverberation in natural listening environments. My research encompasses both human behavioral studies and electrophysiological experiments in animal models. Prior to joining the Auditory Neuroscience Group, I received a BS in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. At Georgia Tech, I studied the effects of non-invasive sensory flicker treatment on glia morphology under the supervision of Dr. Annabelle Singer and Dr. Tina Franklin.
