Discover how the body works
Bring your children and join Scientists from the Department of Physiology, Anatomy, and Genetics (DPAG) in the big white marquee in University Parks where they can learn more about how bodies work. We will be exploring a range of topics, including blood, brain, DNA, heart, lungs, and the skeleton, using virtual reality (VR) augmented reality (AR) and hands-on activities. Scientists will be on hand to answer questions and share fun facts.
Suggested age range
7-12 years – this is just guide and all ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied at all times.
Location
University Parks, Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3RF – the marquee is along South Walk near the Genetic Garden and behind Sherrington Building.
