I received a B.Sc. in Medical Biosciences from Imperial College London and continued with an MRes at University College London. My Master’s work focused on the effect of glycosylation on brain endothelial cell permeability in response to hypoxia and hyperglycemia. My research utilised primary pig and rat brain endothelial cells to build an in vitro blood–brain barrier model. I joined the Keeley Group at the start of 2026. My work in the Keeley Group focuses on developing and optimising genetically encoded intracellular oxygen sensors. Importantly, I aim to achieve high subcellular resolution to explore oxygen distribution and utilisation in different cell types.
