Isabel Lau

DPhil Student

Isabel's research explores how learning evolves over time and the neural signals that support these behavioural shifts. By leveraging computational modelling and mathematical frameworks, she aims to quantify the dynamics of cognitive change. Originally coming from a humanities background, Isabel transitioned into neuroscience driven by the belief that both fields seek to explain our actions and thoughts at different scales, now utilising a quantitative lens to approach these fundamental questions.
