I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Experimental Biomedical Research at the International University of Catalonia, where I am engaged in my final research project under the guidance of Professor Lakhal-Littleton. My project is dedicated to exploring the pivotal role of cardiac hepcidin in the increase of labile iron within cardiomyocytes following a myocardial infarction.
