We are delighted to report a fantastic performance by the wonderful Alzheimer's Research UK  ‘Running Researchers’ team who ran the Oxford Half Marathon on Sunday 12 October!

The team was made up of scientists from within the ARUK Thames Valley Network, who specialise in dementia research; from uncovering how genes raise risk, to testing new treatments, studying brain scans, and growing stem cells to understand toxic proteins. You might recognise some faces in the short film ARUK produced in the lead up to the event, released on InstagramLinkedIn and Facebook

The team was blessed with fine weather and fantastic crowds. They are extremely proud to have raised nearly £6,000 for Alzheimer's Research UK.

The team members are: Katie Thomas, Iona Thomas Wright, Helen Jolly, Tryfon Tzitzikas, Laura Winchester, Kaitlyn Cramb, Sophie Farrow, Hannah Bass, Jerry Tan, Ajantha Abey, Darragh O’Brien, Rachel Corrigan, Daniel Rand, Livia Civitelli, Chor Lai Lam, Millie Morgan and Grace Gillis
