My research investigates the effects of TNFα on the electrophysiological function of 3D hiPSC-derived cardiac organoids generated from RYR2-KO and CASQ2-KO lines. Using optical mapping, I aim to characterise calcium transient and action potential dynamics to understand how inflammatory signalling modifies calcium handling dysfunction associated with inherited arrhythmias.
