Placement Student

I'm a 3rd year student currently undertaking a placement year with Dr. Becky Carlyle. Under her supervision, I am investigating neuronal resilience in Alzheimer’s. Through culturing iPSCs with VGF and other related peptides, and treating them with oligomers of amyloid beta, I will be exploring which of these peptides provide a protective role to neurons.
