I am an Aligning Science Across Parkinson's (ASAP) funded postdoctoral research scientist in the Cragg group. My research focus in the group is how neuromodulation affects dopamine transmission in the mouse striatum both in health and Parkinson's disease. To tackle the question I'm using both electrophysiology and imaging techniques.
I completed my PhD in Gilad Silberberg's group at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm where I investigated the dynamics of neural circuits underlying action selection using electrophysiology and optogenetics.
After completing my PhD I did a postdoc in Professor Gero Miesenboeck's lab at DPAG where I investigated the neural circuits underlying perceptual decision making using electrophysiology and optogenetics.
