Gosia has a First Class Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biotechnology from Marie Curie-Sklodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin, Poland 2009. After working as a research technician and clinical trial coordinator in Poland, she moved to Oxford and worked as a Production Scientist for The Native Antigen Company Ltd, a biotech start-up company leading in the manufacture of viral antigens. Gosia has extensive laboratory experience and fluency in numerous techniques ranging from tissue culture methods and cell-based assays, molecular biology techniques in protein and DNA analysis, to imaging techniques involving immunohistochemistry and Correlative Light & Electron Microscopy (CLEM).
Since joining Heidi de Wet’s research group at the Oxford University, Gosia has been principally involved in investigating the physiological role of ABCC5 in the regulation of hormone exocytosis from gut enteroendocrine cells using L cell model cell line.
