The annual John Burdon Sanderson Lecture, in honour of the English Physiologist, after whom the Cardiac Centre is named, will be held on Monday 14 October 2019.
Robert Greaney, Departmental Financial Controller
Rob was with DPAG from September 2009 - April 2020, heading up the Finance team. He was responsible for managing the department's financial strategic goals to support both its research and non-research objectives, while overseeing the day-to-day running of the various accounts and transactions. Prior to this, he spent 4 years in the central University's Research Accounts team. Interview on Wednesday 31 July 2019.

Preclinical Imaging Facilities
Two high resolution Magnetic resonance imaging systems, specialising in in vivo cine and cardiac MRI. We also have access to Hyperpolarized magnetic resonance imaging capabilities.
Tania Boyt, Head of Administration and Finance
Tania was with DPAG from late November 2013 - November 2019. As Head of Administration and Finance she was responsible for providing the administrative and technical support required to facilitate the Department's teaching and research. She has been at the University of Oxford for 18 years, working at the Law Faculty, Department of Paediatrics, setting up the Medical Sciences Doctoral Training Centre, and most recently the Department of Surgical Sciences, before taking the reins at DPAG in 2013. Talitha Smith, Communications Officer
Talitha was with DPAG from late October 2018 until September 2023, and her primary responsibility was to support the department's staff and students in communicating their work and achievements to a variety of audiences. Prior to this, she worked briefly in the University's Undergraduate Admissions and Outreach office after coming to Communications from an eight year career in Broadcast Television. Sean Nightingale, Computer Systems and Operations Manager
Sean has been with DPAG since June 2014 and heads up the IT Services team. He is responsible for facilitating a full range of activities within IT for both staff and students. Prior to this, he spent 2 Years in the Department of Surgical Sciences. Interview on Wednesday 24 April 2019.
