- I completed my Ph.D. in Developmental Biology from the University of Freiburg (Germany), where I focused on molecular mechanisms underlying defective dopaminergic systems of zebrafish in the laboratory of Prof. Driever. Then I moved to USA to start my journey as a post-doctoral research fellow and my projects focused mainly on coagulation factor associated hemostatic disorders and effects of ECM molecules on abnormous development of endoderm/mesoderm derivatives including heart of zebrafish. In 2017, I was brought to Oxford by nice projects in the field of developmental and regenerative medicine, where I am immersing myself in the molecular events of fish heart regeneration.
