DPhil Student

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science and Technology from Bandung Institute of Technology in 2015, where I was also trained as a licensed pharmacist in Indonesia. During my undergraduate study, I undertook an internship at Sumitomo Chemical Company, Japan, to study embryonic stem cell differentiation to cardiomyocytes and neuron cell for toxicology testing. In 2015, I joined Dr. Leonie Beljaars’s lab as an intern at University Medical Centre Groningen, the Netherlands, to study the effects of engineered human interferon gamma on vascular smooth muscle cell.

In 2018, I was awarded Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) scholarship  to start my DPhil in Prof. Carolyn Carr’s group to study Engineered Heart Tissue (EHT) from induced-pluripotent stem cell (iPSC).
