After a short plunge into the world of finance and consulting Stuart decided scientific enlightenment was where it’s at. On a purely academic level he is particularly interested in how alterations in the protein survival motor neuron (SMN) can affect the development of the Drosophila nervous system.
In addition to working in a basement lab in Oxford, Stuart enjoys sport, travel, history and writing. Stuart has completed his DPhil in the lab and looking forward to what science can offer in the coming years!
