PhD in Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics (2016 - 2020)

In 2014 I graduated from Jordan University of Science and Technology with Bachelor degree in Medicine and Surgery. I obtained Distinctions in Basic medical sciences and have been listed on the honour list for three consecutive terms. I also received a comprehensive clinical training in a variety of supervised inpatient and outpatient settings at  King Abdullah University Hospital.

In 2016 I graduated with a Master in Cancer Sciences from University of Glasgow where I conducted a research project in collaboration with The National Lung Matrix Trial, United Kingdom. The project aimed to expand the use of stratified medicine approaches for the treatment of non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) by testing the efficiency of selected biomarker-targeted therapy combinations.

Following my MSc I started a DPhil/PhD program in Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics at Oxford University under Dr. James Cantley Supervision,I am applying proteomics approaches to investigate beta cell function with relevance to type 2 diabetes in collaboration with the Biochemistry department.
