PhD

Novo Nordisk Postdoctoral Fellow

I am a Novo Nordisk Postdoctoral Fellow in a project divided between the Vyazovskiy group at University of Oxford and the Danish Center for Sleep Medicine at the Copenhagen University Hospital. In Oxford, my work is primarily focused on investigating how the micro-structure of sleep is associated with important sleep-dependent processes, such as cognition and plasticity. I am investigating this using in vivo electrophysiology, real-time metabolic recordings and behavioural assays in rodents. I received my MSc. in Molecular Biomedicine and PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Copenhagen where I studied the link between sleep and the glymphatic system in the group of Maiken Nedergaard.
