Antisense Oligonucleotidesn (ASOs) have shown promise in the treatment of the genetic disorder Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). In my project I help investigate the use of novel Cell Penetrating Peptides to increase the cellular uptake of ASO therapy, aiming to improve its efficacy to further promote dystrophin restoration.
