I joined the Prof R Wade-Martins group in 2017 as a DPhil student. I am part of Wellcome Trust-NIH PhD program, thus I’ll spend first two years of my DPhil in Oxford and last two at NIH, USA. During my project I’ll try to develop a new machine learning application for Parkinson’s disease modelling. In particular, I’ll use Deep Neural Networks to understand how Parkinon’s disease develops and propagates in iPSCs derived cortical and dopaminergic neurons.
Prior to this, I obtained an MSc Neuroscience from University College London and Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) from Lithuanian University of Health Sciences.
