I am interested in exploring how cancer cell metabolism can be targeted to develop novel therapies. My focus is particularly on the influence of the tumour microenvironment on the behaviour of infiltrating immune cells and the role of lactylation as a post-translational modification in this context. Besides my research, I'm really into biotech and how we can bring basic science findings into the clinic. I think it’s exciting to connect researchers with industry to speed up new treatments and help patients more effectively.
