Konstantinos Klaourakis

Wellcome Trust PhD Student

Konstantinos did his BSc in Biology at the University of Crete between 2012 and 2016. In 2015 he was awarded the Amgen Scholarship and conducted a summer research internship in Professor Peter Fraser’s lab at the University of Cambridge.

In 2017 he started his Wellcome Trust 4 year PhD in Chromosome and Developmental Biology at the University of Oxford. After rotating in three labs during his first year, he started his collaborative PhD project at Professor Riley’s and Dr Vieira's lab. He is currently investigating the interaction of the cardiac lymphatic vessels with macrophages in neonatal mouse heart regeneration.
