Kazuyo Tasaki

Senior Research Assistant

Kazuyo Maria Tasaki has been working on investigations involving interaction between experiments (in vitro) and mathematical modelling work (in silico). She is the founder of both the "University of Oxford Innovative Systems Biology sponsored by Tsumura" (2013-) with Prof. Denis Noble, and the Pilot Project (2011-2013). She is the originator of the concept of “Innovative Systems Biology” for the current Project under the supervision of Prof. Denis Noble, bringing a novel approach to Systems Biology and Traditional Medicine. She received an "Award for Excellence" by the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics in April 2014. She is a Group Leader of a small group of the Management Committee for the Project, deputising for Co-Principal Investigators in the overall strategy and management of the Management Committee for this Project.

She was awarded her B.A. by Keio University, Tokyo, Japan. Her Master degree was awarded by the University of Oxford in October 2010.
