Jessica Mitchell

Postdoctoral Researcher

I’m currently a D.Phil. student in the department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics based in the Centre for Neural Circuits and Behaviour working with Professor Scott Waddell. My primary research interests are understanding the molecular components that underlie neural plasticity. I use the fruit fly Drosophila  along with high resolution microscopy to visualise live single molecule mRNA in neural processes of the whole fly brain.
