Selene (Seoyun) Lee

DPhil Student

Selene completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at Imperial College London and studied Translational Neurology (MRes) at the University College London (Queen Square).

Selene’s DPhil project is focused on investigating the structure and cytotoxicity of a-synuclein fibrils that are generated from PD, MSA and DLB patient samples using RT-QuIC. She is also interested in developing a less invasive RT-QuIC using peripheral samples for diagnostic purposes.

Selene is currently a member of Brasenose college.
