\n \n \n \nSally Bromley, chair of Parkinson's UK Oxford and much valued supporter of OPDC, has been bestowed with an honorary degree.\r\n\r\nThe Open University has officially awarded Sally Bromley the certificate, in recognition of her role supporting medical studies and helping other people with Parkinson's.\r\n\r\nMrs Bromley co-wrote the First Steps programme to help others through diagnosis, a workshop which helps people to come to terms with the condition.

\n \n \n \nResearchers in the Oxford Parkinson\u2019s Disease Centre are embarking on a new five-year study looking at the links between a condition known as Rapid Eye Movement Sleep Behaviour Disorder (RBD) and Parkinson\u2019s. Funded by the NIHR Oxford Biomedical Research Centre, the study seeks to improve the remote diagnosis and monitoring of sleep problems at home.
