Oxford University Innovation (OUI) have recently announced the launch of an Innovation Champions trial scheme across the University.
OUI helps staff and students to apply their expertise and research for wider social and economic benefit; their role is to help University staff and students bring the benefits of their research and expertise to create impact in wider society.
The new programme will oversee Innovation Champions, each representing a department, who will help to improve the landscape for innovation and entrepreneurial activities in their departments.
Dr James Cantley is our Department's Innovation Champion. He will act as a first point of contact for members of the Department interested in commercialising their ideas or expertise, or developing links with industry, whether through consulting or research collaboration. He will also be a valuable interface between the Department and OUI.
