Congratulations are in order to Harvey Davis, the winner of this year's OXION Poster Prize.

Every year two prizes (of £125) are given for the best posters presented at the annual OXION symposium on Membrane Transport proteins (ion channels and transporters).

This year – the 16th year the OXION symposium has been held – one of the prizes was won by Harvey Davis, for his poster entitled “Stellate ganglia M-current dysregulation leads to repetitive action potential firing in the spontaneously hypertensive rat," with Neil Herring and David Paterson.

Harvey has just started his third year of an OXION PhD studentship and is working in the Paterson group in DPAG.
