New guidance has been released regarding what Brexit will mean for current and prospective EU students. Over half of my group members, past and present, come from overseas, with almost a third from EU countries. As I have stressed previously, the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics is a global community and fully intends to remain so.

This latest guidance has been summarised in a new webpage, which I hope will reassure you that EU students are, and will continue to be, welcome in the Department. Some key questions are addressed here regarding changes to student fees and Erasmus+ exchanges and I would urge you to read this most-recent information: https://www.dpag.ox.ac.uk/brexit-and-studying-at-dpag

We have always invited, welcomed and supported the great wealth of overseas talent that is out there in the global science community as an essential and integral part of this vibrant department. Please be assured: Britain leaving the EU will not change that.
