Matthias Fritsche

Postdoctoral Fellow

Matthias is a postdoctoral fellow in the Lak Lab. He studies how brains process visual information and how we make efficient and accurate decisions about what we see. For instance, he investigates how brains exploit temporal regularities of the environment to facilitate current perception and decisions. Matthias’ research relies on a mixture of techniques, such as psychophysics, neural recordings, and computational modelling. Currently, his research is funded by a Rubicon Postdoctoral Fellowship awarded by the Dutch Research Council.
