I am honoured to be conducting research with project team leader Dr Haram Park and supervisor Prof Gero Miesenboeck, seeking to understand why we need to sleep by studying how the brain responds to sleep loss.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: day-to-day mouse colony maintenance (including PCR), performance of surgical procedures, laboratory experiments and providing technical support for the manufacture and quality control of custom experimental setups.
